Evelyn and Dino warming up before a competition

About Knights End Farm Equestrian

Knights End Equestrian LLP was set up in 2008 by three members of the Little family, Mike, Julie and their daughter Evelyn.

Michael Little –

Known for his sense of humour, Mike states himself as trained in the art of horsemanship by reading the Thelwell cartoons! He’s never sat on a horse himself but has become an important part of the team and he is the business brains behind Knights End Equestrian.  Part of the Who’s Who list for the business elite 2009/2010 and 2012 he is better known as the director of several Telecommunications companies, both abroad and here in the UK, but can be found on one of his “toys” grading the schools or maintaining the paddocks during the weekends.

Julie Little –

Julie dreamt of horses since she was a little girl, but as a child from a RAF family, and then later having her own family commitments, she didn’t have the chance to own one of her own until she was well into her 40’s. She enjoyed many years with Razz, her Irish sport horse but recently had to retire herself from riding due to medical problems. She is however a huge supporter of Evelyn and has recently brought a future ride for her in the shape of Treliver Dynamique.

Evelyn Little –

An avid animal lover Evelyn began riding from an early age but her earliest years focused on Dog training and showing, with notable success in both obedience and showing classes, including being placed several times and winning at Crufts.  Horses came into her life in a big way as a teenager and since then she has not looked back. After leaving school she attended The College of West Anglia gaining a National Diploma in Animal Care and being awarded student of the year 2003. This then led to University in which she achieved a high 2.1 in BSc (Hons) Zoology and BHS qualifications.

Starting out as a true all-rounder Evelyn enjoyed both dressage and jumping, but found her interest in Dressage became more of a passion in her 20’s, with her giving up jumping competitively all together and focusing on producing dressage horses.  Over the last few years she has been successful in Young Horse classes (with a top 15 place at the Badminton Young Dressage Horse of the Future Final), she has achieved numerous placings at both the Area Festival Championships, Regional Championships, Winter National Championships and Summer National Championships. At the Winter Dressage Championships in 2012 she and Bindro T were crowned Petplan Equine Novice Restricted Champions with a score of 71.77%, since then they have been back to the Winter Championships every year.  More recently in 2014 Bindro T competed at the World Equestrian Games in Normandy as part of the Canadian Para Dressage Team. Post WEG Evelyn has focused on taking Dino up the levels and bringing on her youngster Treliver Dynamique.
